Terms of Service
Effective date: October 28, 2026
Please read Section 14 carefully. It contains an arbitration agreement and class action waiver. Under it, most disputes between you and us are resolved by binding individual arbitration instead of in court, and you give up the right to take part in a class action or a jury trial. You can opt out within 30 days; Section 14.6 explains how.
1. Agreement
These Terms are an agreement between you and Attractiveness Check ("we", "us"), the operator of attractivenesscheck.com (the "Service").
You accept these Terms by checking the box "I agree to the Terms of Service" and clicking "Agree and continue" on our consent page. We remind you of these Terms, with a link, again at checkout, where you also confirm that you are 18 or older and agree to our Privacy Policy and Biometric Data Policy by checking a box before you pay. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
Our Privacy Policy, Biometric Data Policy and Refund Policy are part of these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you are. You confirm it on the consent page, and again before you pay for a report.
3. What the Service is, and what it isn't
The Service measures the proportions and symmetry of your face in a selfie and gives you a free score. If you buy a report, it also reviews how your photo comes across, describes your features with measurements, and suggests changes to your photos and presentation, including hairstyle previews.
- Scores are not a measure of your worth. The free score comes only from geometric measurements of your face in one photo and our scoring rules. The report's presentation scores come from AI review of your photo. Both can be wrong, and other people may see you differently.
- No guarantees. We don't promise any result on dating apps or anywhere else.
- Not medical, psychological or professional advice. The report describes how your skin looks in your photo, but the Service does not identify, diagnose or assess any health or skin condition. Talk to a qualified professional about those.
- For fun, not fact. The colour palette, celebrity look-alikes and apparent age range in the report are for entertainment. Look-alikes are an AI's description of general features in your photo, not face matching, and don't mean any connection with or endorsement by those people.
- Hairstyle previews are AI images. They are created by AI from your photo to give you an idea of a haircut. They may not look exactly like you, and a real haircut may turn out differently.
- AI-generated content. Parts of your result and report are written by AI, under our instructions, and may contain mistakes.
- Same file, same score. The free score is calculated the same way every time: the same image file gets the same free score under the same scoring version. Scores may change when we update our scoring rules, and a different photo of you (different light, angle or expression) may score differently. The AI presentation scores in the report are judgments and are not guaranteed to be identical if repeated.
4. Your photos and content
- Only use a photo of yourself. Don't use photos of other people, including minors. Your selfie must show only you.
- You must have the right to use the photo you choose.
- You keep ownership of your photo. You give us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process it only to provide the Service to you, including creating your hairstyle previews from it, as described in our Privacy Policy and Biometric Data Policy. The license ends when the photo is deleted.
- Your hairstyle previews are made for you. You may use them for personal, non-commercial purposes. We don't publish them or use them for anything else.
- We do not use your photo or face data to train AI models, and we do not publish them.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service to rate, rank, mock or harass any other person;
- use photos of anyone other than yourself, or any unlawful, sexually explicit or infringing content;
- scrape, copy, resell or reverse-engineer the Service, or use bots or automated access;
- interfere with the Service's security or operation; or
- abuse refunds, payments or promotions.
We may suspend access or refuse service if you break these rules.
6. Purchases
- The full report is a one-time payment of the price shown at checkout (currently US$9.99), plus any applicable tax. It is not a subscription and never renews.
- Stripe processes payments. Stripe's terms also apply to your payment.
- Your purchase includes:
- the full report, as a web page that you can save as a PDF from your browser;
- three AI hairstyle previews created from your photo.
- After payment, you can answer two optional questions, then start your report. Your photo is sent to us only when you do.
- If report generation fails and we can't fix it, we refund you in full automatically.
- Report access:
- Your report is available through a private link for 12 months after purchase.
- Your photo, hairstyle previews and facial measurements are kept with it for the same 12 months, or until you delete your data.
- If you need the report after 12 months, save it as a PDF before then.
- Your photo after payment. The free score never uploads your photo. When you pay, your browser keeps a smaller copy in that tab for up to 30 minutes and sends it to us after payment, when you start your report. If it can't (for example, you closed the tab or opened your report on another device), your report page asks you to choose your photo again, at no extra cost. Your report is based on the photo you upload.
7. Refunds
You can get a full refund within 7 days of purchase, no questions asked, and within 14 days if you live in the EU, UK or Switzerland. See the Refund Policy.
8. Your report link
Your report is reached through a private link with a long random key. Anyone who has the link can see the report, so keep it private. We are not responsible for access by people you share the link with.
To buy a report, you sign in with Google or with a code sent to your email. Your reports are listed under My reports, where you can open them again on any device, delete a report's data or delete your account. Keep access to your email secure: anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
9. Intellectual property
We own the Service, including its software, design, text, scoring rules and report templates. You may use your own report for personal, non-commercial purposes, and share it if you choose.
10. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers, such as payment, hosting and AI services. Their availability may affect the Service. Nothing in this section excludes our own obligations under applicable privacy, data security or consumer protection law.
11. Changes to the Service
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service. If we discontinue the Service while your report is still within its 12-month access period, we will email you so you can save your report as a PDF first.
12. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. This includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
Some places don't allow these exclusions, so some may not apply to you.
13. Limitation of liability and indemnity
13.1 Limit on our liability. To the fullest extent allowed by law:
- we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or opportunities; and
- our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50.
This section does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, or for gross negligence or willful misconduct where the law doesn't allow a limit.
13.2 Your responsibility to us. To the extent the law allows, you agree to cover our reasonable losses from third-party claims caused by content you uploaded without the right to do so, including photos of other people. This does not apply to losses caused by our own fault.
14. Dispute resolution: arbitration agreement and class action waiver
14.1 Talk to us first. Before starting any formal proceeding, send a written notice to support@attractivenesscheck.com. Include:
- your name,
- the email you used with the Service,
- a description of the dispute, and
- the relief you want.
We will try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days. Any deadline for bringing the claim is paused during those 30 days.
14.2 Agreement to arbitrate. If the dispute isn't resolved, you and we agree that any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, not in court. This includes:
- claims under any privacy, biometric privacy or consumer protection law, and
- disputes about the scope or enforceability of this Section. Those are decided by the arbitrator, except as stated in 14.8.
A court, not the arbitrator, decides whether an agreement to arbitrate was formed.
The Federal Arbitration Act governs this Section.
14.3 Exceptions. Either party may:
- (a) bring an individual claim in small claims court, if it qualifies;
- (b) ask a court for an injunction to stop infringement or misuse of intellectual property; or
- (c) report concerns to a government agency. Nothing here limits a government agency's ability to act.
If applicable law does not allow a claim for public injunctive relief to be waived or arbitrated, that claim will be decided by a court, after the arbitration of all other claims has finished.
14.4 Rules, place and costs.
- Rules: the American Arbitration Association (AAA) administers the arbitration under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. If the AAA is unavailable, a comparable provider agreed by both parties, or appointed by a court, administers it under comparable consumer rules.
- Place: the hearing is held by video, by phone, or in the county where you live, as you choose. If your claim is for US$10,000 or less, it may be decided on written submissions alone.
- Costs: payment of fees follows the AAA's consumer fee schedule. Under that schedule, the business pays most of the costs. The arbitrator may award fees and costs where the law allows.
- Decision: the arbitrator may award any individual relief a court could award, and the decision is final, except for review allowed by the Federal Arbitration Act.
14.5 Class action and jury trial waiver. You and we may bring claims against each other only individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, consolidated or representative action. The arbitrator may not combine more than one person's claims or preside over any representative proceeding. You and we both waive the right to a jury trial.
14.6 Your right to opt out. You can opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. To do so, email support@attractivenesscheck.com with the subject "Arbitration Opt-Out", stating:
- your name,
- the email you used with the Service, and
- that you opt out of arbitration.
If you opt out, none of Section 14 applies to you, including its arbitration requirement, class action waiver and jury trial waiver. Opting out doesn't affect any other part of these Terms.
14.7 Mass arbitration. Where the AAA's rules treat a group of similar arbitration demands as a mass arbitration, those demands are administered under the AAA's applicable Mass Arbitration Supplementary Rules and fee schedule. This administrative coordination does not allow class arbitration. It also does not make an award binding on anyone who was not a party to that arbitration.
14.8 If part of this Section is unenforceable. If the class action waiver in 14.5 is found unenforceable for a particular claim:
- that claim, and only that claim, will go to court instead of arbitration;
- it will be stayed until the individual arbitration ends; and
- it will never proceed as a class arbitration.
Every other part of this Section stays in effect.
14.9 Changes to this Section. A material change to this Section applies to you only after you affirmatively accept it, for example by checking the Terms box again. It never applies to claims that arose before you accepted it.
14.10 EU, UK and Swiss consumers. This Section does not apply where the mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence prohibits it. In that case, you may bring claims in the courts of your country of residence.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The Federal Arbitration Act governs Section 14.
This does not take away any protection given to you by the mandatory law of the place where you live. Any claim that is not arbitrated will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless your local law gives you the right to sue where you live.
16. Ending these Terms
You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your data with Delete my data, or delete your account under My reports. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms. Sections 4 (license limits), 9, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 18 continue after the Terms end.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date. You accept the new version by checking the Terms box on your next visit. Purchases made under an earlier version are governed by that version. Section 14.9 sets out the extra rules for changes to Section 14.
18. General
- These Terms, together with the policies linked in Section 1, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
- If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- If we don't enforce a provision, that doesn't waive it.
- You may not transfer these Terms. We may transfer them to a successor operator of the Service, for example to a company we form to operate it. Your rights under these Terms are unaffected.
- Notices to you may be sent to the email you gave us, or posted on the Service.
